Counselor

About Me

I’m a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC E1200577) in the state of Ohio. I work with individuals, couples, and families who are struggling with something in their lives and are looking for a solution. I’m an advocate for YOU. I truly believe you know what’s best for you or your family and my goal is always to help you reach yours. I got into this field because I feel motivated by helping others and watching people grow, and I genuinely believe every person has the potential to do so.

I Work With

I’m open to working with any age group and a range of issues, but I do have my limits. If you feel l may be a good fit but don’t see your situation listed, give me a call and we’ll discuss it. I feel compelled to work with those struggling with:

What To Expect

When you come to my office you’ll be met without judgment and with a genuine interest to understand you and meet you where you are. Therapy should be a place for you to be you, unfiltered, whether at your best or your worst. I promise I’m not easily offended. You’ll find I’m easy going, mild-tempered, witty, and sincere. I don’t believe any counseling method is “one size fits all,” but I do have quite a bit of formal training and will use these approaches if it’s right for you or your situation.

My Experience

I received my B.S. in psychology and M.A. in Clinical Counseling from the Ohio State University. I graduated with some great training and a confidence that I’ve found my purpose. I’ve worked with youth and families with a range of problems and severity levels both in a community setting and inpatient hospitalization. I have specific training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Parent-Child Interaction Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, trauma-informed care, and crisis intervention.
