About Me

My journey in the field of mental health has been shaped by personal experiences, academic studies and my work with diverse populations aged 18 and up. From a young age, I knew I wanted to help others. I was able to see pain in the world that others could not but felt incapable of making a real difference. I found that deep conversations, sitting in the discomfort and pain of difficult experiences, and facilitating the healing process was very rewarding work. So while I’ve been in the field of social work for 10 years, I have truly been in love with this line of work since I stepped into a therapist role in 2022.

My goal is  to  create a safe and empathetic space for you to discuss, explore and navigate your life’s hard decisions. My hope is for you to feel welcome, seen, heard, and understood without fear of judgment. I believe there is power in a collaborative therapeutic relationship where you can be an active participant in your healing journey. My treatment approach utilizes evidence-based therapeutic techniques, and integrates various therapeutic modalities, tailoring interventions to meet your specific needs and ensuring a holistic and client-centered approach.

In addition to my clinical skills, I understand the importance of cultural competence and diversity in mental health care. I am committed to providing a therapeutic style that respects and values the unique background and identity of my clients. As a Queer person myself, I prioritize the importance of self-acceptance and self-love within and outside of the LGBTQIA+ community. This approach enables me to connect with individuals from diverse backgrounds, fostering an environment of inclusivity and understanding. I am always willing and eager to learn more about your specific background and identity as we continue to work together.
